Sterowniki nvidia powodują zawieszenie się Debiana

Witam, z niecierpliwością czekałem na ukazanie się kde 4.2.2 dla Debiana, lecz jak zwykle musiało pójść coś nie tak. Zainstalowane przeze mnie sterowniki nvidia w wersji 180.29, a teraz 180.44 zawieszają mi komputer. Gdy nie zmienię wpisu w "xorg.conf" z Driver "nvidia" na Driver "nv" komputer przestaje działać na gnome po około 5 minutach na kde po 1 minucie.
Wynik polecenia plsd@plsd:~$ uname -r 2.6.26-1-686
[/code]Dodam,że skompilowałem kernel w wersji 2.6.29-1-686 i sterowniki na nim zachowywały się tak samo.

Opisz co to znaczy 'zawieszają mi komputer'. Póki co można Ci jedynie doradzić zainstalowanie jakiegoś monitoringu temperatury, bo kwin4 faktycznie dość silnie korzysta z GPU i nagrzewa go.

Zawiesza się w takim sensie, że wszystko przestaje działać i nic nie mogę zrobić i pomaga tylko restart.

Ja po tym jak zobaczylem, ze Plasma non stop zużywa 100% procesora nawet jak nic nie robię, prędko wróciłem do Gnome i powidzialem sobie "nigdy więcej". Tego to nawet i vista nie potrafi - na pusto zarżnąć procek... szok

giaur - nie siej defetyzmu. Być może - choć szczerze wątpię - w Debianie jest coś źle porobione, ale u mnie:
plasma od dobrej chwili osiągnęła raz 15% zużycia procesora i zajmuje w pamięci 14MB. Głównie użycie procesora kształtuje się na poziomie do 1, 2%. System widać w "O mnie".
plsd - Po pierwsze upewniłbym się, czy nie jest to problem hardware'u, stosując jakąś livecd, a nawet kilka - tzn. jedno jakieś minimalistyczne (np. Slax) i jedno jakieś bardziej zasobożerne (np. Mandriva One, czy nawet Suse /bo da w kość wszystkiemu, co na drzewo nie skacze/). Jeśli będzie chodzić - w istocie mogą to być jakieś problemy w konfiguracji Xów, wówczas spróbowałbym użyć niekompilowanego kernela i pozmieniać różne sterowniki grafiki. Jeśli i na livecd sytuacja będzie się powtarzać, to bardzo prawdopodobne, że jest to jakiś problem hardware'owy.
