Witam,
Mam Debiana 4.0, kernel 2.6.18-4-k7 i radeona 9200. Sciagnalem sterowniki ze stornki ati ktore sa z 2006 roku (nowszych nie ma do tego modelu). Instaluje, niby wszystko pomyslnie sie zakonczylo ale to tylko pozory.

Moze mam uzyc jakiegos innego sterownika? Instalowal ktos r9200 na debianie? To w ogole mozliwe?

hmm.... muszę cię pocieszyć bo nie jesteś sam :mrgreen: Mi też nie chcą działać sterowniki do tej karty, dlatego siedzę na otwartych i mi tam pasują. Spróbuj zainstalować z repo, może Tobie się uda

Ja miałem Radeona 9200 SE i 9250. Cały czas korzystałem z otwartych sterowników i nie miałem z kartami absolutnie żadnych kłopotów.

sprawdź czy masz te paczki : libgl1-mesa-dri, libgl1-mesa-glx, libglu1-mesa, mesa-common-dev, mesa-utils, xlibmesa-dri, xlibmesa-glu

Nie mialem tego ostatniego, zainstalowalem, ctrl + alt + backspace i nadal ten sam komunikat :|

direct rendering: No Nie wiem co jest zle, wczesniej mialem problem z modemem speedtouch 330 + net24, rozwiazalem ten problem kupujac router bo nikt nie potrafil polaczyc debiana z net24 na tym modemie. Teraz chyba musze kupic geforce zeby cieszyc sie plynna grafika...

Jak Ci się chce pobierać kilka godzin, to pobierz sobie najnowszego Knoppiksa (niestety tylko DVD). Bardzo dobrze rozpoznaje u mnie tą kartę. I wtedy możesz sobie porównać co i jak jest wymagane do jej poprawnej obsługi. W wersji live działa u mnie wszystko. Na komputerze z tą kartą nie muszę mieć 3d i mam zainstalowany tylko sterownik vesa.

Zamkniętych sterowników nie masz co instalować bo nie wspieraja one już nowego xorga.

Chyba znalazlem gdzie jest problem. Wyczytalem na forum ze na otwartych sterach dziala radeon 9200 se, nie dziala radeon 9200 pro, ja mam radeon 9200 le i przyjmuje ze tez nie dziala na tych sterach :| Pora powrocic do konkurencji z nvidii...

Pozwole sobie dopisać się do tematu, a mianowicie jak na tej karcie przy otwartych sterownikach włączyć TV-out mam Radeona 9250 SE. Mam Debiana Lenny.
