nVidia - problem - czarny ekran

Ostatnio zmienilem karte z Radeona9200 na GF5500FX. Zalogowalem sie z ominieciem Xow, zainstalowalem najnowsze sterowniki ze stronki (wg instrukcji z forum), po czym po odpaleniu pojawia sie czarny ekran. Zmienilem nastepnie driver z nvidia na nv (zmiana tylko wpisu w xorg.conf - bez doinstalowania niczego) i tryb graficzny zaczal jako tako chodzic, ale obraz troche drzy i nie dziala GLX.
Co zrobic by sterownik nvidi nie powodowal czarnego ekranu?

Usunąłem sterowniki radeona i zainstalowałem sterowniki nvidii 100.14.06, tym razem sytuacja podobna ale inne błędy wywala:

a czy przypadkiem nie jest tak ze masz standardowe jądro z repo;) i instalujesz sterowniki ze strony nvidi?
bo jeżeli tak to silnie teoretycznie na forum ktoś zarzucił sposobem na rozwiązenie tego problemu trzeva instalator nvidi przerobić odrobinke albo jądro skompilowac;]
ja miałem własnie z takiego powodu czarny ekran;]
