Logcheck nie wysyła logów

Mam problem z logcheckiem - nie wysyła on logów. Ostatni mail jaki od niego dostałem to: Warning: If you are seeing this message, your log files may not have been
checked!

Details:
Failed to get lockfile: /var/lock/logcheck/logcheck.lock

Also verify that the logcheck user can read all files referenced in
/etc/logcheck/logcheck.logfiles!

Tłumaczę z angielskiego: "sprawdź także, czy użytkownik logcheck może czytać wszystkie pliki wymienione w /etc/logcheck/logcheck.logfiles"

Dobrze, zrobiłem to ale dalej nie działa?

Dostaję coś takiego: su -s /bin/bash -c "/usr/sbin/logcheck" logcheck
mail: /tmp/mail.RsXXXXXPb0eU: Permission denied
