Najpierw poradźcie, jak przywrócić na dysku sda1 NTFS i odzyskać moje dane!
Powiem tak. Jeśli masz tam jakieś istotne dla siebie dane, to nie poruszaj się po tym dysku po omacku, bo jedynie zrobisz coś źle (jeśli się nie mylę, Twoja znajomość systemów nie jest zbyt duża). Przygotuj sobie dysk zewnętrzny (obojętnie jaki - może być pendrive) i spróbuj uruchomić komputer z jakiejś dystrybucji livecd (np. ubuntu/kubuntu/mint - obojętne, byleby dobrze czytało także ntfs - zdaje się, że z tym jest jakiś problem). Po uruchomieniu, te systemy powinny Ci automatycznie podmontować dysk (jeśli się da) i wówczas skopiuj to co potrzebujesz na przygotowany dysk zewnętrzny. Potem dopiero baw się dalej w przywracanie itp.
Taki całkiem ciemny to ja nie jestem, nie z takich opresji wychodziłem. Mam kilka programów do partycjonowania, ale w obcych językach i nie bardzo wiem jak się nimi obchodzić, z jednego z nich utworzyłem nawet Retungs-CD i wiem, że jakoś to powinno pójść. Spróbowałem nawet tzw. Testdiskiem, ale ta nowa wersja jest dla mnie w ogóle nieczytelna i zapisywał mi jakieś dane, ale na ten dysk z Windowsem i przerwałem, bo tu mam za mało miejsca, żeby ewentualnie te swoje filmy pomieścić, odtworzył mi na pierwszy rzut właśnie ten zapisany plik z logiem z Linuksa. Teraz czytam o Easy Recovery. Najlepiej by było, gdybym potrafił po prostu zmienić ten RAW na NTFS.

Trochę wpadasz w samozachwyt. Zawaliłeś, kiedy nie do końca przejrzałeś dokładnie taki opis: http://debian.linux.pl/viewtopic.php?p=89342#89342
Do odzyskiwania czy naprawy systemu używaj opartych na Linuksie dystrybucji livecd.
Zepsucie pierwszej instalacji systemu nie jest tragedią. Jak się nie doświadczy zepsucia systemu to się go nie pozna.
Długie logi wstawiaj w formie załącznika lub na serwisy do tego przeznaczone. Nie cytuj całych wypowiedzi tylko fragmenty, do których się odnosisz, łatwiej się to wtedy czyta.
Ważne dane należy zawsze wcześniej mieć na jakimś zapasowym nośniku. Szczególnie wtedy kiedy się eksperymentuje z nowym systemem.
Programy, które posiadasz do odzyskania danych, raczej są typowo przeznaczone dla partycji Windowsowych i w przypadku istnienia partycji linuksowych mogą jeszcze namieszać.
Najwłaściwszy powinien być testdisk uruchomiony z jakiegoś livecd.
Najlepiej byłoby wykonać lustro całego dysku programem ddresscue i eksperymentować na obrazie. Wymaga to drugiego dysku o większej pojemności (to tak na przyszłość). Jak masz dostęp do innego dysku, a na tym masz ważne dane, to uruchom sobie system na innym dysku i wykonaj trochę eksperymentów z zabawą w odzyskiwaniem danych. Inaczej te dane stracisz, skoro nie znasz narzędzi.

Przeczytałem, ale z tą aktualizacją do Squeeze nie jest to jeszcze dopracowane, linki do których byłem kierowany wskazywały, że wszyscy mają podobne problemy.
Nie jest tak źle, zepsuć coś doszczętnie w komputerze nie jest tak łatwo, niepotrzebnie tak szybko wpadam w panikę. Uruchomiłem właśnie EasyRecovery i odszukuje mi wszystkie dane NTFS, zostało jeszcze 5 minut skanowania. Jeszcze łatwiejszy sposób znalazłem: wystartować komputer z płytki Windows XP, robić nową instalację, i jak jest wybór partycji, na których instalować to wywalać ją i reset komputera. Na moją logikę faktycznie powinien dysk (ta partycja) wrócić do NTFS i nic nie trzeba odszukiwać, dane cały czas tam są nieutracone, bo się nic nie zapisywało na sda1, tylko ten log z Xorga i Windows widzi ją teraz jako surową RAW.
Teraz najwyżej stracę Linuksa, bo wyświetla mi w tym EasyRecovery cały dysk (465,76 GB) jako NTFS, po tym, jak zaznaczyłem tylko tę jedną partycję RAW do przeszukania plików systemu NTFS. Ale nie sądzę, bo to jest na razie proces wyszukiwania. Linux jest dla mnie nowością, ale nie Windows...

Jest mała różnica. Linux nie psuje innych systemów plików, natomiast Windows jak mu coś nie pasuje to formatuje lub domaga się tego.

I chyba tak jest, bo są wszystkie dane nienaruszone, tylko nie wiem, czy w tej wersji testowej tego EasyRecovery jest sens to zapisywać na nowo... Najpierw spróbuję jednak z płytką Windows XP zmienić po prostu, czyli przywrócić NTFS obrazek http://w159.wrzuta.pl/obraz/02cfHfzZqkA/bez_tytulu2

U Ciebie brzmi on: mam partycję (nawet nie wiemy ile ich masz), którą Windows postrzega jako RAW, choć wcześniej była sformatowana jako NTFS. Po drugie: nie używaj narzędzi, którymi nie umiesz się posługiwać, a które służą do operacji fizycznych na dysku, bo tylko i wyłącznie więcej możesz zepsuć niż naprawić. Po trzecie: spróbuj czy istnieje system, który bezinwazyjnie odczyta jednak dane z tej partycji RAW. Knoppix, kilka typu linux "ratowniczy", być może także robi to Windows w jakimś trybie awaryjnym, konsolowym czy jakimkolwiek, ale tu niestety Ci nie pomogę, bo zwyczajnie nie pamiętam. To co chcesz zrobić (tzn. przerwać w jakimś miejscu instalację) wydaje się być pozbawione jakiegoś sensu. Po czwarte: jeśli uda się odpalić zgodnie z pkt. 3 - skopiuj dane, w przeciwnym przypadku - wydaje się, że jedynym logicznym rozwiązaniem jest użycie narzędzi do odtworzenia danych. Przecież w Twoim systemie została zamazana informacja o tym, że jedna z partycji jest sformatowana w określony sposób. Nie jest też prawdą, że nic tam nie było zapisywane, bowiem sam twierdzisz, że jednak było. Po piąte: kombinowanie z Windows i jego instalacją ma sens wyłącznie wówczas, jeśli wiesz, że dany efekt w określony sposób się osiągnie. Inaczej obudzić się można z pięknie sformatowaną na nowo czystą partycją.

Już z plikami z windowsowej partycji jest wszystko dobrze. Z tą płytą instalacyjną Windowsa i rozpoczynaniem instalacji systemu na tej partycji nic nie wyszło (wyciągałem płytkę przed formatowaniem oczywiście, tak jak gdzieś usłyszałem) i pozostała ona nadal RAW, więc bardzo dobrym programem Ontrack EasyRecovery Professional przywróciłem daty i przerzuciłem na pierwszy dysk, gdzie mam system Windowsa i jeden film na drugiego kompa, bo by mi się nie zmieściło.
Partycja Linuksowa zachowana. Więc tak, na tym drugim dysku, na którym mam Linuksa są takie partycje /dev/sda1 NTFS - ta odzyskana, tu nie było systemu tylko dane (pliki filmowe) /dev/sda2 Linux /dev/sda3 Extended /dev/sda5 Linux swap / Solaris
Teraz możemy wracać do problemu z okienkiem powitalnym logowania do Squeeze i nie uruchamianiem się systemu po aktualizacji z Lennego do testowej. Co tam po tym logu widać?

To przedstaw jeszcze raz aktualne pliki:

Oraz wyniki poleceń: cat /etc/apt/sources.list uname -r dpkg -l | grep xorg
Polecenia możesz przekierować do pliku na zasadzie: polecenie > nazwa_pliku.txt
Np.:
dpkg -l | grep xorg > lista.txt
Kursor przeskoczy do następnej linijki, a plik znajdziesz w katalogu, z którego wydałeś polecenie.
