Błąd instalacji sterowników Nvidia
kajttek - 20-09-2009 11:26
Witam.
Przystąpiłem do instalacji sterowników.
Jednak instalacja poszła do końca. I nadal jestem w kropce.
Log instalera nvidii: nvidia-installer log file '/var/log/nvidia-installer.log' creation time: Sun Sep 20 10:55:57 2009 installer version: 1.0.7

Using: nvidia-installer ncurses user interface -> License accepted. -> Installing NVIDIA driver version 185.18.36. -> No precompiled kernel interface was found to match your kernel; would you li ke the installer to attempt to download a kernel interface for your kernel f rom the NVIDIA ftp site (ftp://download.nvidia.com)? (Answer: No) -> No precompiled kernel interface was found to match your kernel; this means that the installer will need to compile a new kernel interface. -> Performing CC sanity check with CC="cc". -> Performing CC version check with CC="cc". -> The CC version check failed: The compiler used to compile the kernel (gcc 4.1) does not exactly match the current compiler (gcc 4.3). The Linux 2.6 kernel module loader rejects kern el modules built with a version of gcc that does not exactly match that of t he compiler used to build the running kernel. If you know what you are doing and want to ignore the gcc version check, sel ect "No" to continue installation. Otherwise, select "Yes" to abort install ation, set the CC environment variable to the name of the compiler used to c ompile your kernel, and restart installation. Abort now? (Answer: No) -> Kernel source path: '/lib/modules/2.6.26-2-686/build' -> Kernel output path: '/lib/modules/2.6.26-2-686/build' -> Performing rivafb check. -> Performing nvidiafb check. -> Performing Xen check. -> Cleaning kernel module build directory. executing: 'cd ./usr/src/nv; make clean'... -> Building kernel module: executing: 'cd ./usr/src/nv; make module SYSSRC=/lib/modules/2.6.26-2-686/bu ild SYSOUT=/lib/modules/2.6.26-2-686/build'...

Zainstalowałem Debiana testowego i zaktualizowałem do Sida. Aktualizacja sterowników standardowym sposobem:
/etc/init.d/kdm stop aptitude update aptitude install build-essential linux-headers-`uname -r` rm /usr/bin/gcc ln -s /usr/bin/gcc-4.3 /usr/bin/gcc sh ./NVIDIA-Linux-x86-195.36.24-pkg1.run

Pozdrawiam i z góry dziękuję.

log X-ów mówi iż nie można załadować modułu nvidia, a log jądra wspomina znów o tych trzech wymienionych w temacie modułach. Proszę o pomoc.
Edycja: Odpaliłem system na jajku z testowej wersji (dwie rewizje do tyłu) i instalacja sterownika poszła bez problemu.
Dodane: Problem wystąpił również na architekturze 64 bitowej. Rozwiązał go skrypt http://debian.linux.pl/threads/10952-Instalacja-sterownik%C3%B3w-kart-graficznych-za-pomoc%C4%85-skryptu
Jednakże przydałoby się gdyby ktoś napisał jak on to zrobił.
