[+] Skype 2.1 beta - awaria przy starcie (Squeeze z Gnome)

Witam.
Podczas startu skype pojawia się na moment okienko programu, po czym znika. Odpalenie z konsoli daje taki wynik:

Dzisiaj rano skype działało, wykonałem kilka połączeń testowych (audio + wideo). Wieczorem przy próbie połączenia zgłosiło błąd:
problem z ustawieniami dźwięku
Ponieważ wszystkie próby zmian w preferencjach dźwięku kończyły się krachem, wpadłem na genialny pomysł, aby przeinstalować:l

Tak poza konkursem, zastanawiam się, czy nie lepiej takie rzeczy (np. duża ilość linii z konsoli) wstawiać jako załącznik(i)?

Pulseaudio nie działa u Ciebie jako serwer dźwięku.
W takim razie wykonaj poniższe, jeśli znasz hasło i login do Skype:
mv ~/.Skype ~/.Skype.old #To polecenie zarchiwizuje Twoje poprzednie ustawienia Skype w katalogu domowym. Podczas pierwszego uruchomienia Skype utworzy nową konfigurację.
Następnie jako root lub sudo:
dpkg -P skype
nano /etc/apt/sources.list #nano -edytor tekstu w konsoli ,możesz użyć gedit,vim lub inne.
Dopisz do sources.list:
deb http://download.skype.com/linux/repos/debian/ stable non-free
Zapisz i wyjdź z edytora.
Następnie:
apt-get update
apt-get -f install
apt-get upgrade

Ps: Twoje próby rozwiązania problemu nakierowały Cie na problemy ze Skype w systemach 64 bitowych. Ty zaś posiadasz system 32 bitowy na którym korzystanie ze Skype zwykle nie stanowi problemu. (IMHO). Do wklejania na forum zawartości np: sources.list ,który zwykle zawiera nie istotne linje (poprzedzone '#') można użyć polecenia :
cat /etc/apt/sources.list | grep -v '#'

Dzięki, jak rozumiem chodziło o zainstalowanie starszej wersji.
Skype się uruchamia, konsola nie pokazuje nic, za to przy próbie połączenia pokazuje komunikat "problem z odtwarzaniem dźwięku". Próba dokonywania zmian w ustawieniach audio kończy się krachem skype.
Okazuje się, że ze starego dysku mam ciągle jakąś starą paczkę "skype-debian_2.0.0.72-1_i386.deb". Tyle, że po usunięciu poprzednio zainstalowanego z repozytorium pakietu i próbie instalacji tego starego pakietu z dysku:
host:~# dpkg -i /home/dane/dane3/instalki/skype-debian_2.0.0.72-1_i386.deb
Zaznaczenie poprzednio niezaznaczonego pakietu skype.

Musisz rozwiązać problemy z zależnościami. Bez tego nie ma się co dziwić że jakiś program nie działa.
W tym celu wykonaj zalecenia z mojego wcześniejszego posta .
Sympatycznie było by zrobić konfig dla systemu dźwięku, w /etc/asound.conf (dla calego systemu) lub w ~/.asoundrc dla Twojego konta na tym PC.
